Kim Clark and Clint Rudy from Early Childhood Development Commission be our guest speakers.

Kimberly Clark is a passionate, experienced educator whose career spans more than two decades. She has serviced the needs of children and families in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Her roles have included classroom teacher, instructional coach, district coach, educational consultant, community learning coordinator, assistant principal, head of school, chief academic officer and chief executive officer. She has served in schools from preschool all the way through high school in both public and charter schools.

Kimberly is profoundly invested in the physical, mental, social, emotional and educational wellbeing of all children. The educational philosophy that has always driven Kimberly is the unwavering belief that all children deserve to be supported, loved and nurtured so that they may grow and learn to their fullest potential. She further asserts that it requires hard work, dedication and collaboration from all stakeholders (parents/caregivers, teachers, healthcare professionals, school officials, businesses, non-profit organizations, government agencies and more) in order for children to have the best possible start in life. Her commitment to relationship-building is what has allowed Kimberly to successfully create and maintain partnerships in all of these areas throughout her career.

In her current role as ECDC manager (Suffolk Early Childhood Development Commission), Kimberly has utilized her time, talent, resources and experience to meet the needs of Suffolk’s most vulnerable population, young children. With excitement, gratitude and determination she has been able to leverage her relationship-building skills to strengthen existing partnerships and create new ones. She has worked in conjunction with some of Suffolk’s most knowledgeable and experienced early childhood professionals to make a difference for children and families.
